I love your white Christmas tree. Usually I don't like these because they are a funny green color, but this one is very special! xo Joan, your hostess
ReplyDeleteLove love love your white tree!!! I have one in storage that I bought during the summer two years ago and have never been able to use yet!!! So seeing yours really brings a smile to my face! I have seen the replacement lights for it on Ebay.. all sorts of different shapes and colors!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Vintage CHRISTMAS Monday!!!
i love that tree! what a find!
ReplyDeleteI love your tree! I have never seen one in white before. My mother made one in green years and years ago and it was always out at Christmas. Seeing yours has brought back some sweet memories. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI actually love ceramic trees! I have a green and set of pink my Mom made in the 1970's! I've never seen white and it is really adorable. Thanks for sharing. Judi
ReplyDeleteI love your vintage tree. I remember trees like this, but like Joan said, the ones I remember were green. What a great find. Thanks for sharing.

What a fun find...my grandma had one just like that!!! I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. I know we are so fortunate that Kelly is ok. Yes, he had an upper GI bleed. I agree with you about our health care system. It is so scary to me that they sent us home and I think about what could have happened.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, the white ceramic tree brings back lots of memories. My mom and sister used to paint a lot of ceramics, and this was one of them. Love the white!

What a beautiful little tree! Yes, you will fall totally in love with collecting vintage Christmas... and the wonderful memories they carry is the best part of all... Bisous... Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteLove these ceramic trees! I have two, one I had made for my folks in the 1980's.....
ReplyDeleteMy aunt Nadene made several of those ceramic Christmas trees back in the early 1970's! My favorite was the one she made for my great aunt. It was white, like yours, but instead of bulbs, it had blue birds that lit up!

I love your tree! I've been looking for one like this for years. My mom had made one in her ceramics class years ago, and I was hoping to get it from her one day, but then she sold it without even telling me. I was heart broken and have been looking for one ever since. I can't say as I've ever seen a white one. It's really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your white tree - I posted my green tree that I made in ceramics class back in the 70's on my blog - please visit and see.

I love your little light-up tree! I have two green ones, but I'd never seen a white one before until last week, when I saw one that was about 3' tall, with gold trim. It was gorgeous, and it was in someone else's cart! I'll never be able to get it out of my mind!
ReplyDeleteHappy VCM!
Carol
That is a great tree, I love that it's white! xo, suzy
ReplyDeleteMy SIL used to have one of those trees with the lights.
ReplyDeleteHum, I wonder if I can borrow it for next week??
Cheers,

You really reached a lot of people with your little tree! How fun is that for you? It is a darling tree and yes, when I had one they weren't considered vintage.
ReplyDeleteTime marches on!

My Gram had that same tree! I remember it always sitting on the table next to the big old console t.v. It was so pretty at night! Great find!

I love that the tree is white! We have a white Christmas tree in the house -- my three-year old begged for one, so we no longer put up a green one, but a big white one. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find a cute white one like that. So many of them are an icky green. HMMMMM may need to check out all the thrift shops near me. There are 4 within a three mile radius of each other! Time for a good rummage.
ReplyDeleteI'm on pins and needles! See, I won the wonderful stamp and it's going to be so neat in my collection. My hubby is to put up shelves and display cabinets for all my "stuff" over Christmas break (I'm off two weeks and he takes vacation to be off too) so it will have a good home.
Thank you SO MUCH for such a great giveaway.
Smiles~
Marilyn
That tree reminds me of the one my Dad had, he'd set it out every year, in a place of honor right on top of the tv.
