life has been very stressful in recent weeks...and i have spent the last few days wandering and searching and digging through thrift stores, trying to escape some of my thoughts. it's very relaxing to me...and i'd like to share the few little white beauties that i've found. i picture this piece as once a part of someone's wedding, perhaps? it's so serene...

a little worn and crackled - just like it should be
a large wall clock with no hands - i bought this (new) a few years ago, and it was functional until the hands got twisted and mangled by unidentified persons. i'm not sure if i'll ever get it fixed or not...

The capers of the vintage vixens
Hi Mary, I too, find that white is bringing me more calm and less stress. I love color, but doing white for a change really is soothing. Love that doggy and the tiny glass shoe!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I just adore that ivory shoe!
Boy, you sure do sound like a kindred spirit, going to garage sales and thrift shops and such is completely relaxing to me, too.
Thank you so much for your comments on my blog the other day, and for sharing a bit of your life in my informal poll.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
