a few for the boys, etc...

this little metal car is a new favorite thing:) i decided that since i'm the lone girl here, i should add some masculine touches! and frankly, i love rusted little metal vehicles, so this is no hardship.

i also find enjoyment in this little collection of old baseballs and softballs (still in the cardboard box i found them in)

i suppose you could say that these beautiful old dominoes are unisex?!?

but that's all for now on the boy theme;) love this rusted old cold cream jar
and the old wooden spools with shades of pink threads

i'm enjoying vintage hand mirrors these days, too

this precious little handmade calendar is dated 1948, and all tied up with a soft old ribbon! a few of the pages are missing their darling stickers, but the wonderful handwritten verses for each month make up for it, i think

i will get quite a bit of use from this large shabby platter

i'll be back in the next day or two with more photos of the sweet tweet swap items i made for my partner, ele. and i'll show you where i found some wonderful inspiration for one special item, in particular:)

Adorable!! I have the brush to that mirror! We had the mirror but my baby grabbed it and broke the mirror :/ I am keeping the brush safe!

The sweet calendar reminds me of the little appointments book I bought at a Vide Greniers. One of the little girls from the front cover is pictured near the top of my blog. I'm really looking forward to seeing your Sweet Tweet Swap!
